With a background in better dresses and alternative bridal, the Brigitte Hart Dress Collection has developed into a brand that appreciates vintage design,  craftsmanship, and details of the past. 

My clothing brand uses inspirations, textiles and trims from a bygone era and puts them into modern yet nostalgic, romantic, and feminine designs.  

These items are made to last and to hand down to future generations.  All items are made slowly for quality, to reduce waste, and to preserve raw materials. 

I will always use vintage fabrics first, then I will try to source natural fabrics from vendors who purchase overstock textiles from other local clothing manufactures.  If I purchase new fabric, such as linen, it must be certified using strict guidelines of environmental impact in textile production. 
I want to create an authentic line of clothing that is original, and is good for you and the environment.  

These items are handmade at Brigitte Hart Dress Atelier from design to end product and are considered heirloom pieces and are made to stand the test of time. Most items are one of a kind or made in small batches.

The attention to detail and some of the finishings on these items can be considered couture quality.

Most of the garments are constructed with natural fibers such as silk, cotton, linen, and rayon. The fabrics have been treated and washed using special techniques for the final results of the garments. The slight creases and the variations of shading and texture are what give this product its unique personality and are not to be considered imperfections. As with all natural fibers, the fabric of this garment will continue to soften with regular wear, and with proper care, will become better and more personal and beautiful with age.
