Let me introduce myself. My name is Brigitte Hart and I'm an independent clothing designer in the greater Sacramento Area. I love creative design, draping and drafting patterns, and I also cut and sew my creations.

I consider myself to be an artist with textiles as my medium. I create beautiful clothing with vintage and historical references for my small batch clothing brand using natural fiber textiles, vintage textiles and trims, and some high-end dead stock fabric.

My designs are made in a range of sizes, however it depends on the resources I have available. That is why they are made in small batches or are one of a kind.

There is a new princess bodice at the Atelier. I really like the perspective of the sleeve on the rack. It has a beautiful hanger appeal once the hanger tape was situated properly. This little bodice is the queen of the rack. She makes her presence known. 😉
