Lake Tahoe

End of Summer / Pre-Fall Collection News

Just spent the weekend in the Sierra's and traveled through Donner, Reno, Carson City, and Lake Tahoe with my husband.  I really enjoyed the scenery, weather and found an amazing vintage store in Reno.  It was a very successful and relaxing adventure and I came back full of inspiration for my next major collections for Holiday 2022 and Spring 2023.

I can't believe it's already the middle of August.  I love these summer days, and feeling rejuvenated to get all those projects done that were started months ago, its finally time to plan and prep for my End of Summer / Pre-Fall Collection.  I've been behind the scenes busy working on finishing up some of my mini collections of dresses and layering pieces of small bralets, tops, skirts and shorts, that can be layered up with other items going into fall.

Working with my vintage fabric collection sets boundaries on just how much I can produce with what I have on hand, what styles would be important to continue on a made-to-order basis, or what silhouettes and fabric combinations will I add to my existing collections for more styling options.

Soon, the End of Summer / Pre-Fall Collection will be posted to

Here you will find a mix of vintage Silk Chiffons in solid and floral print, Linen, Cotton Batiste, Silk Organza and Silk Shantung.  The colors will be navy, ivory, lemon-lime ice, white, honeydew and black.  Details include: topstitching, lace, hand embroidery, shell and covered buttons.

I also have at least one pop-up planned on September 24, at Magnolia's, in Carmichael, my favorite local Antique and Collectibles Marketplace.  I'll be showcasing my vintage Brigitte Hart Dress collection from my Summer Breeze collection and other one of a kind pieces.  Plus, I will be selling off remnants and notions for small stitch and/or slow stitch projects.

After that I will be introducing my Praire Rose Collection by end of September.  Holiday 2022 will be a small collective of things to come. And then Spring 2023 Deliveries should begin in February.

Back to work.
