Measurement Chart

At Brigitte Hart Dresses, your garment is handcrafted and mostly made in small batches.  Usually, when your order is placed your item is cut and sewn just for you.  See my standard measurement chart to help you find your correct size. See below on how to measure yourself correctly.   If you need assistance or need a different size let me know via email and we can make a custom fit for you.  Sometimes alterations may be necessary, and I do offer that service for a small fee.

How to measure yourself with a tape measure:

Use a standard tape measure held flat against your body and don't pull too tight.  Stand up straight and let's begin...

Bust: Measure around the front and back of the widest part of your chest.

Waist: Using your natural stance, measure around the circumference of your waist usually just above your navel.

Hip:  Measure around the front and back of the widest part of your hips, usually around 9" below your waist.
