KATE - Vintage 1990s Dress repurposed One of A Kind

Let's call her Kate. Do you love being nostalgic for memories of your past? As the lovely princess inspired dress came together, I vaguely remember a dress I had growing up in the 60's. It was pale ice blue with some lace trim with these beautiful sleeves. I think my hair was put up in a bun on the crown of my head with a little dainty floral headband that tied around it. Now for some pretty white patent leather heals with peek-a-boo toes... a recreated moment in time, that until I completed this dress, was a memory that I thought was gone forever.

The transparent nature of 100% silk organza is the beauty of the silhouette with princess seams. This dress also features a high hip seam from side front to side back and inverted pleats in the front princess seams to add a little more sweep to the hemline. The sleeves are just so beautiful and feminine that they will make you feel like such a lady-like princess. This dress is transparent in all the right places and is fully lined with two layers of lining of cotton batiste and rayon acetate. There is a center back zipper and a self tie belt with the same embroidered lace trim as on the sleeve.

Each dress is handmade from customized pattern to end product. Each garment is delicately sewn and pressed and packaged with each individual client in mind throughout the entire process. Your complete satisfaction is my end goal.

The fabric has been treated and washed using special techniques for the final results of this garment. The slight creases and the variations of shading and texture are what give this product its unique personality and are not to be considered imperfections. As with all natural fibers, the fabric of this garment will continue to soften with regular wear and with proper care, will become better and more personal with age.
